Key Programme

Key Programme

The Board employs a skilled teacher to provide the tuition required for those children that we believe would benefit from participating in the school’s key programme.

1.  It is an endeavour to provide ‘extra’ assistance the child would benefit from in curriculum.   Hence the the name KEY.  The ‘key’ to unlock any barrier to their learning.

2.  The programme’s objective is to help these children realise their potential through close teacher tuition.

3.  There will be three sessions per week of approximately 30 – 45 minutes per session.

The length of time the child remains on the programme depends on the assessment of progress made.  The classroom teacher and/or KEY teacher keeps parents informed of this.
