School Social & Fundraising Committee
On Wednesday 03 March 2010 the “Frankley School Social and Fundraising Committee” held their AGM. The 2009 committee are to be commended for their hard work and effort. Thank you all very much for your dedication to our learning community. Thanks to Annie O’Connor (Chairperson), Glenys Shotter (Vice Chairperson), Janine Schofield (Secretary), Penny Cardie (Treasurer) Tania Atkinson (Gala Co-ordinator), and other committed members for your outstanding fundraising efforts for 2009.
We also had nominations and elections for the new committee members for 2010;

Frankley School Events
Term 1
Walkathon Sunday 28 March, 11:00am-1:00pm
Thank you all very much for supporting the annual school walkathon. We had 146 registrations for this event. Thanks to “The Paintshop” for their kind donation of 2 bikes. These bikes will be drawn today at our special assembly. The bikes are a Green ABD 360 20” BMX bike (boys) and Tarini Sugar 24” pink bike (girls). I would also like to thank Westown Book and Gift Shop, Nickles and Dimes, Front Runner, Antonio’s Bakery, The Hall family, The New Plymouth Vet Group, National Bank and Arni and Friends (Sherbert fundraiser $54) for sponsoring this great event. Lastly thanks to the SFRC committee and Penny Cardie for the planning and organisation of this event.
