NP Music Festival:
All the best to Mrs Cribb and our Frankley School Choir tonight at the Np Music Festival at the TSB Stadium 7:00pm, 800 voices and 19 schools.
Teacher Only Day:
Reminder we have Teacher Only Day on 26 September (School closed)

23 Sept - Student led conferences start at 2:00pm (School closed early at 12:50pm)

NP Cross Country Champion:

Congratulations to Oscar Hadley for winning the 10 year old boys race today at the New Plymouth Cross Country Champs.  Oscar along with Isla Russell (11th 10 yr girl), Lucy Atkinson (7th 11 yr girl), and Harry Clegg (4th 11 yr boys) will be going to the Taranaki Cross Country Champs 24th September.  Well done.


Fancy Dress:
Our Fancy Dress will be held at FDMC Wednesday 10 September 7:00pm start all children to arrive at 6:45pm.
Maree Leach Trophy Winners:

Our Netball A team played St John Bosco in the Division 2 final on Thursday. The final score was 25-3 to Frankley.  History has been made winners of the Maree Leach Trophy.

Remax Hot Air Balloon:
Wow thank you very much the Remax for bringing along your hot air balloon.  Who would have thought that the weather would clear this morning.  Thanks Vicky Lewis and the Remax team.
Farewell Mrs Wilkinson:
We have a special assembly at 2:00pm Friday 04 July to say farewell to Mrs Wilkinson.
Puketapu Interschool Exchange:
Today we played Puketapu in our second interschool exchange.  The results (Frankley score first) were Netball 30 - 7, Soccer 13 - 0, Rugby 38 - 45.  Thank you Puketapu for hosting and we look forward to St Josephs on the 19 June.
Frut-o-ice pops promotion:

Today Cameron Morris from Universal Trade flew down from Auckland to present Frankley School with a second prize cheque for $2,000.00.  Thank you to families and friends that voted online for us.  We will be using the money to purchase sport equipment.

Interschool dates 2014:

Our next sports exchange is 06 June at Puketapu School (away), followed by St Josephs New Plymouth on June 19 (away). We will take our football, 2 netball, and rugby teams along.  Games will start at 1:00pm.

Waitara East Sports Exchange:
Today we played Waitara East in our first sports exchange.  Results: (First score is Frankley) Netball A 19-1, Netball B 2-6, Soccer 5-1, Rugby 19-50.  Thank you to parents that came and helped with transport and coaching teams.
NP Rippa Rugby:

Today we played in the in NP Rippa Rugby tournament at Sanders Park, results 25-25 draw St Joes NP, 30-25 win against Bell Block, 30-35 loss against Oakura, 35-25 loss against Mangorei.  We managed to make the quarter finals and played West End.  Full time was 30-30 draw.  We played golden point extra time and lost 35-30.  Thanks to parents that came and supported us.  Congratulations to the team.


Chiefs Visiting:

Wow thanks to Brad Weber, Matt Symons and Ben Tameifuna from the Chiefs, for visiting Frankley School today.  We were very excited. All the best against the Blues tomorrow night.
