Grandparents Day:
We had over 100 grandparents visit our school today. This was a wonderful response from our community. Thank you all very much grandma's and grandad's, we hope you enjoyed the visit.

Congratulations to our SFRC carnival committee for very succesful carnival total $27,328.00.

Frankley School Carnival:
We have our very succesful annual school carnival this Sunday 6th November 11:00am - 2:00pm. Food stalls, garage sale, quick fire raffles, rides and activities a lot of fun to be had by all.

Congratulations to the All Blacks for a courageous win against the French 7-8. Won by One.

The Franakley School Orchard:
Today we had 20 families donate and plant fruit trees in our orchard. We have lemon, plum, apples, pears, peach, feijoa, blueberry, cranberry, passionfruit, grape and mandarin trees in the orchard. Special thanks to Shelly Gard and Mrs Geraldine Irvine.

Frankley School Taranaki Cross Country Champ:

Congratulations to our Taranaki Cross Country runners that ran today. An extra special mention to Hannah O'Connor coming first in the 10 year old girls race. She is the best 10 year old girl runner in Taranaki. Well done to Zian coming 8th and Sarah coming 35th.

Ranfurly Shield Visit.:
Wow it was great having the ranfurly shield at Frankley today. All classrooms managed to get a photo with the shield. We had parents and grandparents lining up to get photos too. Thanks to the TRFU and Andrea Bunn.

New Plymouth Cross Country Champs:
Congratulations to Hannah, Sarah, Zian and Mason for finishing top 12. They will be going to the Taranaki Champs on 21st of September-Hawera.

NPPA Interschool Finals:
Today our football team played Woodleigh in the NPPA Interschool finals. It was a very hard fought game that went to 10 mins extra time. Woodleigh scored a goal to win. Well done to Frankley players for not giving up. Thanks to coaches and parents for your support.

Canterbury Earthquake Fundraising:
Well done Frankley School so far we have raised $1,500.00 and still waiting for a little bit more. We thank Chloe Johns, Hope Shotter, Amy Morris, Michaela Smith and Kendall Huckstep for being proactive leaders in this event. Well done girls.
